Inspiring. Motivating. Enlightening. Frustratingly condescending. Aggressive and truth-spilling but audaciously candid. If I'm being honest, his mind is intriguing, filled with usable information, incredible game, if you are detail oriented and smart enough to take what he gives. Dame Dash is harsh in pushing you to get up off your tale to find what you're good at and make it work for you so you no longer have to work for someone else.
Dame, as we've grown to know him as this loud, at times obnoxious dude, with a swanky attitude who often time shares with us his rancorous rants that leaves us sometimes searching and wondering through it all, had great massive points, amazing advice and business modules to back up who he is in this book. One thing is clear, you can't take that man's hustle away. I mean, even the book has ad's for his businesses in them. While I've seen that before by Yolanda Bozant, it just shows that business is always on his mind.
In regard to Kenyatta Griggs, he is patient and clear in his questions and most times he agrees andwhile other times left unclear on certain topics it all works. Though I truly admire Dame Dash, the only issue I take with him is his usage of the word slave and boss mentality. Though I know what he's saying. I find he has to say it differently, cause the fact/truth is that not everyone is not out to be a boss and while he was graced with the gift of gab and hustle boss mentality and now sitting on millions because of it, he must respect that everyone
has and holds a place in this world. And that means, all won't be millionaires, all won't own a business and so on. There are people who are meant to be buyers and staff. No one should feel humiliated about working hard to take care of their family and paying their bills, and while I share in his mentality about working for self because I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, it is something said for people to be okay with where they are in life and don't have a desire to reach for the stars, to be rich, to be super successful. Some people are okay with pacing themselves and enjoying moments, and keeping time.
I want him to respect that and find a better way to say what he says. Take focus, discipline and finesse what he speaks. Because contrary to what people say, his words can have a pernicious affect. Since so many of us admire him I want him to become more positive and efficacious. But thank you Dame, I appreciate your book, very much so.
