UBOW: The Recap Thus Far

Hey everyone listening to Lady Talk 101, it's Until and It's time for Until's Book of the Week!

"Until's Book of the Week" will be a recap of the books I've shared thus far.

The first was to give you a teaser of what is to come this summer from the "soon to be released list" which was Babies, Breastfeeding and Board Rooms by Kandi Burrus Tucker and Yandy Smith.  Teaching moms with blossoming careers  how to balance.
Next was all about the 9 Fruits of the Spirit by Robert Hand, giving you the fruits of life and a better connection to God. Following was A Passion for Coffee by chef Hattie Ellis teaching you about the liquid that helps keep the world running and the taste buds it blesses.

Last but not all least it was the One Minute Counselor for Men by H. Norman Wright. Helping  and teaching men with things they may be not quite fond of dealing with or know how to. So there you have it and there is more to come. Now for Until's Book of the Week Game trivia question: Who was the first African American Female to publish a book? 

 The first person to answer this correctly on the "Until's Book of the Week" Facebook page will get a Starbucks gift card. The cast of Lady Talk 101 are now excluded. :) sorry! :) love you mean it!

UBOW: Small Doses

Amanda Seales . We've come to know her as hilariously courageous, sweet with a no non-sense attitude. A very strong personality, with an intellect that will cut you deep. She still comes off as your friend in your head home girl. So let's speak about  her new book called "Small Doses" .  Small Doses is a non wrapped gift because she gives it to you straight with no chaser. But that's not to say she isn't considerate as to how you maybe affected, this is why she gives you what you need to know in "Small Doses" . UBOW: Working for You Isn't Working for Me

Hey everyone! It's been a minute because I've been on hiatus. The show, has been on hiatus too, and I've currently been working on other things; which you will see manifest shortly. So, I have just recently started a new job and I'm close to ten (10) months in and it has been a true roller coaster ride. I have learned that while you can be talented, smart and obtain a wealth of information as well as very resourceful, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're fit to lead or train. I also learned that everyone has a different way of communicating (or can't) at all. I will admit that the encounters on this job though I have met before, it hasn't, however been met in this way. This is the first job that I've met people who are very warn, tired and now in coasting mode along with many stresses that affect their everyday, and because of that, the office isn't what it should be.
